Okay ladies, how many of you have gone to the pharmacy late in the evening or at night and tried on foundation on your hand trying to choose the correct colour for your complexion? This is a BIG ‘no no’ girls.
First of all the lighting in the pharmacy is not the right
lighting – foundation suitability needs to be tested in as much natural day
light as possible. Second of all, It’s important to match the colour to both your
neck and face, so apply some on your neck and face and blend it in with
your finger. After blending, it should be difficult to tell that its even there
- then you’ll know it’s the right foundation for you. It’s important to achieve
a seamless mono-tone on your neck and face. Think about it - how many times
have you seen someone with light foundation on their face and their neck is
dark, it just looks awful.
Creme versus Liquid Foundation
Creme foundation tends to be higher pigmented and gives better coverage. Some liquids tend to be lighter pigmented, so its ideal for those of you who don’t like to wear too much make up. Creme foundation tends to be ideal for mature skin as well.
Making foundation hold longer
It helps after you apply your foundation to use a loose
powder to seal it, and this also it helps the foundation to ‘stay’ longer.
Hope these tips will help you to put your best face forward –
from the foundation up!!!!
Stay beautifullest ladies!!
